 The BX-80NR is a battery operated wire-free version of the successfully established BX80N external perimeter PIR. The BX-80NR is an advanced outdoor PIR detector designed to protect the immediate perimeter of a building. It is developed for the purpose of “early warning” i.e. detection of an intruder at the earliest opportunity.
When used for intruder/stand alone applications the BX80NR can utilize a range of generic transmitters which can be housed in the device. The BX80NR offers a reliable and flexible option in new system design and offers an easy retro-fit solution for existing CCTV or intruder systems.
Although primarily designed for external applications the BX80NR can also be utilized internally and provides a unique solution for perimeter sequential conformation when coupled with other devices to form a sequentially confirmed alarm condition.
