Optex is about to introduce 2 new products for industrial door activation and safety the Optex OA-4500 and the OA-6500. Both sensors are based on the Optex Active Infrared technology and will be available to the market soon.
The OA-4500 is suitable for a maximum installation height of 4.5 and the OA-6500 can be installed at a maximum height of 6.5 meter. One of the unique features is that the safety (presence detection) will not be achieved by one single spot but with many spots, similar to our active infrared sensors for automatic doors.
