In succession of the SteroVision camera sensor, a MonoVision camera sensor has been developed. This sensor allows only one person to enter an entry after the existing access control system has given permission to pass. In practice it is very easy to sneak through this entry together with the person that was authorized by the access control system. Simply holding the door or catching the door during closing can result in an entry of a non authorized person. This is also known as “Piggybacking”.
The MonoVision camera sensor has the ability to recognize if non-authorized persons attempt to access the entry without valid approval from the access control system. This anti-Piggybacking-system can increase the level of security in every situation.
