Stand: B.39

Overview
Join OPTEX Security EMEA at FireSafety and Security Event 2026. See live demonstrations of intrusion detection technologies designed for reliable protection across complex sites. The team will show how accurate sensing, stable detection logic, and layered protection improve security performance in commercial, industrial, and critical infrastructure environments.

What you will see

• Live demonstrations of OPTEX intrusion detection solutions
• Real installation scenarios explained by technical specialists
• Examples of layered perimeter and indoor protection
• Practical guidance for installers, integrators, and security managers

Technologies on display

REDSCAN LiDAR sensors

REDSCAN LiDAR sensors use laser measurement technology to create precise virtual detection areas. The sensor continuously scans the protected zone and measures distance to objects across the scene. This allows accurate detection of movement and location within the defined area.

Installers can build custom detection zones around fences, building facades, roofs, gates, and open ground. The system identifies movement by size and position, which reduces nuisance alarms caused by animals, shadows, or weather movement.

REDSCAN sensors are widely used to protect data centres, logistics sites, utilities, and high security facilities where early detection and accurate alarm information are essential.

FSI fibre sensing solutions

FSI fibre optic sensing protects long perimeters by analysing vibrations along a fibre cable installed on a fence or underground. When someone climbs, cuts, or interferes with the perimeter, the system detects the disturbance and identifies the location of the event.

Signal analysis separates genuine intrusion attempts from environmental activity such as wind or rain. This allows stable monitoring across long distances while maintaining reliable alarm performance.

Fibre sensing is well suited for large sites such as solar farms, airports, industrial parks, and infrastructure facilities where several kilometres of perimeter require continuous monitoring.

FlipX sensors

FlipX detectors provide stable indoor detection using a rotating optical lens system. The lens can be installed in two positions to change the detection pattern. This allows the same sensor to operate in either a wide detection mode or a narrow long range corridor pattern.

Multiple pyro elements analyse movement across the detection zones. Digital signal processing filters environmental changes and improves detection stability.

FlipX sensors protect offices, corridors, warehouses, and other indoor areas where flexible installation and reliable motion detection are required.

TXI outdoor detectors - COMING SOON

TXI outdoor detectors deliver accurate external detection for building approaches and perimeter zones. The sensors use advanced optical design and digital processing to maintain stable detection in outdoor conditions.

Detection patterns cover building facades, paths, and approach routes. The sensors analyse movement across defined zones while filtering environmental disturbances such as sunlight changes, moving vegetation, and temperature shifts.

TXI detectors support commercial buildings, logistics facilities, and critical infrastructure sites where reliable outdoor intrusion detection is essential.
