Technologies on display

LiDAR detection

OPTEX REDSCAN LiDAR sensors create precise virtual detection zones using laser measurement technology. Unlike traditional motion sensors, LiDAR measures distance and position in real time. This allows the system to detect, track, and classify movement within a defined area.

Installers can build custom detection zones around fences, walls, building facades, roof areas, and open spaces. The sensor detects movement based on size and location, which reduces false alarms caused by animals, weather, or moving vegetation.

LiDAR works well in high security environments such as logistics facilities, data centres, utilities, and critical infrastructure.

Fibre sensing for perimeter protection

Fibre optic sensing monitors fences and long perimeters by analysing vibrations along a fibre cable. When someone climbs, cuts, or tampers with the fence, the system identifies the disturbance and locates the event along the perimeter.

The technology protects several kilometres of fencing using a single sensing system. Advanced signal processing separates genuine intrusion attempts from environmental noise such as wind or rain.

Fibre sensing works well for large sites including airports, solar farms, logistics parks, and industrial facilities.

Blue Range wireless security

Blue Range wireless technology supports secure, reliable communication between sensors and control equipment. The system uses two way encrypted communication to maintain stable signal performance while protecting against interference.

Wireless sensors allow installers to protect areas where running cables is difficult or expensive. The system supports external detectors, control devices, and accessories while maintaining long battery life and strong transmission reliability.

Blue Range suits residential, commercial, and retrofit projects where flexible installation is required.

SIP outdoor detectors

OPTEX REDWALL SIP detectors deliver stable outdoor detection for building facades, entrances, and perimeter approaches. These sensors create narrow curtain detection zones that monitor walls, doors, and windows without covering unnecessary space.

The detectors use multiple pyro sensors and digital signal processing to maintain stable performance in changing outdoor conditions. Sunlight, temperature shifts, and environmental movement are filtered to reduce nuisance alarms.

SIP sensors protect building perimeters, access points, and restricted areas in commercial and high security applications.
