OPTEX to Attend APR 2025 - Railway Transport Security

OPTEX will be taking part in APR 2025 - Railway Transport Security, the annual event dedicated to the protection of public mobility systems, scheduled for 5 May 2025 in Milan. The event will serve as a key opportunity for discussion among industry experts, public and private operators, and technology providers, with a focus on regulations, physical and cyber threats, and advanced solutions for railway security. OPTEX is pleased to confirm its participation in the 2025 edition of APR - Air, Port, Rail Security & Safety, the annual event focused on public transport security, to be held on 5 May 2025 at the Confcommercio headquarters in Milan.

This year’s edition will be entirely dedicated to the security of the railway system, with a programme covering, in the morning, the regulatory and operational aspects concerning the deployment of security guards on board trains. In the afternoon, the focus will shift to analysing the physical and cyber threats affecting railway and metro infrastructure, through contributions from leading public and private operators and top-level international technology providers.
