What initially attracted you to join OPTEX?

There were a number of factors, but what really stood out to me was OPTEX’s philosophy and values, as well as the company’s vast experience and standing within the security industry.

What I most enjoy about my role is being able to meet and help customers, either through site visits or product demonstrations, to find solutions to new challenges. I love working across the different environments and applications of our products, from national high-risk facility to a residential villa, it’s a privilege to be part of the team working on a project. In simple terms, it’s all about working with our team to solve the challenges of our customers and deliver customer satisfaction.

What is your favourite OPTEX product and why?

A number of innovative solutions within OPTEX’s broad range of technologies grab my attention, but if I had to choose a favourite it would be the Shield series. I appreciate the overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers and end-users and the huge trust they have in these products. The reliability the sensors, combined with the sleek new design and ease of installation, is a winning combination.

And finally, do you have any hobbies or a surprising fun fact about yourself?

I’ve been a keen badminton plater for the last few years, but as a bit of an adrenaline junkie I also earned my skydiving licence this year. The feeling of jumping from a plane make me forget my fears, it’s like a form of therapy!
