Meet the team – Lawrence Peters, Head of Sales, UK and Ireland

In the latest addition of our Meet the Team series, Lawrence Peters, Head of Sales – UK and Ireland, tells us about his career in security spanning almost 20 years to date, the importance of collaboration and teamwork, plus his huge passion for pizza!

What is your background/career history?

I’ve been involved in the security industry since 2007, with experience across a range of areas, including installation, Physical Security Information Management (PSIM), distribution, and temporary site rental. Throughout my 17 years in the industry, I’ve had the privilege of working on a variety of exciting projects and meeting some incredible people, many of whom remain good friends to this day. I feel truly fortunate to be part of an industry that plays such a crucial role in safeguarding people and property.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

What I love most about my role is the sense of purpose it brings – helping to protect people, property and possessions is incredibly rewarding. I also enjoy working with talented colleagues and customers on interesting projects across a broad range of industries and sectors. For me, success means a happy team and satisfied customers.

Do you have any hobbies or a surprising fun fact about yourself?

Outside of work, I’m passionate about pizza making – a skill I’ve been honing for over 16 years believe it or not. I now have an outdoor pizza oven at home, and my wife has even banned me from going to pizza restaurants! I’m also an avid cyclist and recently completed a 300-mile charity bike ride to raise money for Blaby District Spartans, a pan-disability inclusive football team that my son plays for. I’m also proud to serve as a trustee for the club, helping to support the incredible work they do for young players of all abilities.
