What initially attracted you to join OPTEX?

I was particularly attracted to OPTEX because of its outstanding reputation and the superior quality of its products compared to its competitors. What is your favourite OPTEX product and why?

My favourite OPTEX product has to be the Redscan. It’s an innovative solution that addresses a wide range of security market challenges with remarkable precision and reliability. The Redscan's ability to create highly accurate detection areas and its adaptability to various environments make it an indispensable tool for comprehensive security coverage. Its technology is not only cutting-edge but also highly versatile, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. This level of innovation and functionality is what initially drew me to it.

However, I’m also incredibly impressed with the new FlipX series. The FlipX series is a testament to OPTEX's commitment to listening to customer feedback and evolving to meet their needs. It combines modern style with simplicity and cost-effectiveness, offering a sleek design without compromising on performance. The series is designed to be user-friendly, making installation and operation straightforward while maintaining high standards of security. This balance of aesthetics and functionality is particularly appealing, as it meets the practical and stylistic demands of today’s security market.

And finally, how do you relax and unwind outside of work?

Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family, which helps me maintain a healthy work-life balance and keeps me grounded. Family activities and simple moments together are incredibly rejuvenating.

In addition to family time, I am passionate about sports. I particularly enjoy playing football and tennis, which not only keep me active but also provide a great way to socialize and stay connected with friends. Since 2019, I’ve also developed a strong interest in running. This new passion has been both physically and mentally rewarding.

I'm proud to say that OPTEX has supported my running endeavours by sponsoring me in two international marathons, two UK marathons, and a duathlon. Running has become a fantastic way for me to unwind, stay fit, and challenge myself. It offers a perfect balance of solitude and community, as I enjoy both the personal achievement of running and the shared atmosphere of participating in events. This blend of family time and physical activity ensures that I stay energized and focused in both my personal and professional life.
