Entrusted with the site's security since 2014, PAD Security has meticulously crafted a bespoke security system, featuring airlock entry, CCTV surveillance, and OPTEX detection solutions.

The site in Bedfordshire, hosting three storage facilities and approximately 500 caravans valued at £14 million, underscores the paramount importance of security.
PAD Security's comprehensive solution begins at the entry points, where airlock gate access is fortified. Each gate operates sequentially, requiring a code for entry, with gate two only opening once gate one has securely closed. Every caravan is uniquely tagged, permitting removal solely through this identification process. Augmenting these measures, PAD Security employs 24-hour CCTV surveillance, complemented by OPTEX perimeter protection.
To fortify the solid fence line guarding the perimeter, OPTEX Smart Line IR Active Beams have been strategically placed, totalling an estimated 60 sets around the caravan compounds to create a virtual perimeter above the fence line, instantly triggering the security system if breached. If anyone attempts to mount, climb over or cut through the fence, the beams activate instantly setting off CCTV and alarms, alerting PAD Security within moments for swift response, including potential police intervention.
