The BX Shield is a series of curtain outdoor motion sensors with up to 12m detection range on each side. Ideal to detect people in the immediate boundary of your home or office building, the outdoor detectors feature four PIRs, two on each side. The left and right detection area can be set up completely independently from each other. The BXS-ST is a grade 2, hardwired model.
12m Detection Per Side
Two narrow curtain detection areas provide up to 12m coverage on both the left and right, giving 24m total protection along a building.
Independent Left and Right Detection
Each side operates independently, allowing detection range, sensitivity and alarm outputs to suit different areas around the building.
Stable Outdoor PIR Detection
Four PIR elements, two on each side, support reliable detection while reducing unwanted alarms caused by small animals and environmental changes.
Extreme High Detection Mode
Increases sensitivity in hot weather environments where ambient outdoor temperatures closely match human body temperature
Versatile design
The BX Shield curtain sensor has been designed with the user in mind. A 90 degree unlocking system allows easy access to the settings area, a spirit level help fixing the sensor straight.
SMDA Logic
Uses Super Multidimensional Analysis to intelligently differentiate between genuine human intrusions and environmental nuisances like swaying trees, heavy rain, or temperature shifts.
Detect Intruders Before They Enter
BXS creates a narrow protective curtain along the building line, providing an early warning when someone approaches vulnerable windows, doors or other access points.
Pet Immunity
Engineered to ignore movements caused by small animals and household pets, helping reduce unwanted alarms while maintaining reliable detection of people approaching the protected area.
