The OPTEX OVS-02GT EN is the latest addition to the OVS-02 vehicle detection series, combining proven vehicle detection performance with enhanced safety functionality for automated barriers. Featuring a dedicated Test input and a Form A solid-state relay safety output, the OVS-02GT EN is compliant with EN 12453 Type D, making it now suitable for applications where safety monitoring by a Type D device is required for automated barriers. The OVS-02GT EN provides reliable above-ground vehicle detection and acts as a virtual loop, replacing traditional inductive ground loops without the need for civil works. It delivers accurate detection of stationary and moving vehicles while maintaining reliable operation in demanding outdoor environments.
Easy above-ground installation
The OVS-02GT EN is designed for simple installation without the need for cutting into road surfaces or installing underground loops. Mounted above ground on a wall, pole, or barrier housing, it provides a practical alternative to traditional ground loop systems.
Configuration is quick and easy using the OPTEX Virtual Loop app, allowing installers to set up and adjust the sensor using a smartphone or tablet.
Excellent performance in challenging environments
