Meet the team - Eelko Griepink, Area Sales Manager Benelux and Northern Europe

I have had the privilege of being a part of the OPTEX EMEA Security division for nearly five years now. My journey with OPTEX began with their Benelux division, and when approached to contribute to their security products division. Currently I am responsible for sales in Benelux and Northern Europe, entrusted with the responsibility of driving sales initiatives in these key markets.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

During the last 5 years we achieved to sell many interesting projects together with our distributors, working closely together with them. The interaction with the sales teams of our distributors is key to our success and building relationships with installers and system integrators is helping us to have steady growth. It is very nice to be part of this.

Do you have any hobbies or a surprising fun fact about yourself?

I am married and have 3 children. I live in The Netherlands, close to Rotterdam. During weekends I like to go out with my family, walk or bike together and enjoy the outdoors.

What is your favourite OPTEX product and why?

My favourite product is the REDSCAN series because of all the possibilities and versatility to adapt these detectors to the application. That allows us to optimize detection and therefore it can be used in many different locations.
