Watch the below video to see a live demonstration of how tracking and zoning works or read on to find out how to configure this in REDSCAN Pro.
In the demo video, the REDSCAN Pro sensor was mounted in a horizontal position. The sensor is set up for five different zones within the 100-meter detection field of the detector and then set the target size to match that of a human target while also eliminating the target size of a vehicle. Each zone that was created was mapped to a corresponding output on the REDSCAN Pro and as you can see from the video, every time a person is picked up in the relevant zone, the corresponding relay would activate back to an alarm system of choice or inputs on an NVR/DVR.
Integrating REDSCAN to a PTZ camera will allow you to activate the PTZ to a defined preset zone and each time the target moves out of one zone and into another, the camera field is adjusted to keep the target within the field of view of the camera.
If the relays are wired back to an intruder alarm system, this feature can offer you a confirmation of a moving target and activate a zone for each area allocated on the REDSCAN Pro.
