Advanced intrusion detection enhances security for major utility company in Romania

One of the world’s largest investors in renewable energy entrusted Quadrix Integrated, the security and technology integrator, with the task of designing and implementing a new security system for its three perimeters of photovoltaic panels and associated critical infrastructure in Mureș County, Romania.

The primary requirement was a solution that was largely automated, helping to minimise the need for manual operation. Due to the remote nature of the site, a highly reliable intrusion detection system was required to ensure no false alarms could trigger along its perimeter fence line -especially in adverse weather conditions, such as extreme heat or heavy rainfall.
