The HX-80NAM is a mounted PIR between 2.5 and 3 meter high and provide a narrow volumetric outdoor intrusion detection up to 24m. The series is ideal to protect alleyways, areas along fences or the immediate approach to a building. It has been designed to differentiate between human and small to medium sized animals reducing a lot the risk of false alarm. The HX-80NAM is the hard-wired model with active infrared antimasmaking within the HX-80 series.

To adapt to the slope of the ground, the HX-80NAM's bracket can rotate horizontal, 180 degree and can be tilted up or down vertically. With its built-in flaps and plates the HX-80NAM easily set up to mask either the longer range or mask shorter ranges and can focus only on the area of interest.
If the HX-80NAM sensor is sprayed, covered or obstructed while it is armed or disarmed, the active infrared anti-masking will be able to sense the threat when the alarm system is turned on and as a result will send through a notification.
The HX Series features superb Catch Performance. The most important element in reliable outdoor detector is accuracy to distinguish a human from a pet. The exclusive pyro element on board enables the HX to project an ideal detection pattern, thus allowing for more accurate detection of humans and less false alarms.
