OPTEX’s advanced microwave module is designed to ensure stable and reliable detection even in bright sunlight.

IR digital antimasking to detect and alert of any attempts to block, cover, spray, or interfere with the sensor’s field of view.

By using PIR and microwave technologies together, the TXI-DAM can confirm genuine intrusion more accurately and reduce nuisance alarms caused by environmental factors.

TXI-DAM uses independent sensing areas that form three detection zones within the sensor’s field of view, and an alarm will only be triggered when all three zones detect simultaneously, ensuring reliable human detection while reducing nuisance alarms.

TXI sensors feature OPTEX’s Super Multidimensional Analysis (SMDA) digital processing, which analyses multiple characteristics of detected movement to help filter environmental noise and support more stable operation as conditions change.

Selectable mounting height from 2.2m to 3m and 3m to 4m, and engineered for secure, high-performance installation with clean, concealed wiring using the included mounting bracket. For added flexibility, ceiling-mount is available with an optional bracket.

TXI offers up to 12 m of detection range which can be adjusted to prevent over-ranging and ensure accurate coverage. 

An optional look-down zone allows precise coverage adjustment for different site conditions.

TXI is equipped with an accelerometer. The accelerometer detects device removal and tilt.

Traditionally, improving pet or small animal tolerance meant lowering sensor sensitivity. This reduced unwanted alarms, but also reduced detection performance.

TXI takes a different approach.

Using new Triple AND logic, TXI verifies movement across multiple detection points before generating an alarm. This helps the sensor distinguish between human intrusion and small animal movement, without weakening the sensor’s response.

The result is true pet tolerance, stable outdoor detection, and no need to trade security performance for fewer false alarms.
