The TXI-ST delivers stable and consistent high-mount curtain detection using OPTEX's advanced Triple AND logic (patent pending). Built to create an invisible curtain barrier along a building façade, the TXI-ST is ideally suited for ground-floor perimeter protection, balconies, warehouses, office buildings, and retail sites where a narrow detection field helps define and secure the boundary of a property.

TXI has a unique configuration of Quad + Dual PIR, and enhanced with OPTEX's proprietary SMDA digital logic, designed to ignore animals moving through the detection zone, reducing the risk of false alarms in environments where pets or wildlife may be present, without compromising detection performance against human intruders. In a compact, palm-sized design, the TXI-ST can be mounted up to 4m high delivering 12 m detection range, adjustable to prevent over-ranging, and an optional look-down zone, offering the flexibility to adapt coverage to a wide range of applications while maintaining a clean and discreet installation.

Triple AND Logic

TXI-ST uses independent sensing areas that form three detection zones within the sensor’s field of view, and an alarm will only be triggered when all three zones detect simultaneously, ensuring reliable human detection while reducing nuisance alarms.

Advanced SMDA digital logic

TXI sensors feature OPTEX’s Super Multidimensional Analysis (SMDA) digital processing, which analyses multiple characteristics of detected movement to help filter environmental noise and support more stable operation as conditions change.

Flexible mounting

Selectable mounting height from 2.2m to 3m and 3m to 4m, and engineered for secure, high-performance installation with clean, concealed wiring using the included mounting bracket. For added flexibility, ceiling-mount is available with an optional bracket.

Adjustable detection distance

TXI offers up to 12 m of detection range which can be adjusted to prevent over-ranging and ensure accurate coverage.

Optional Look-down zone

An optional look-down zone allows precise coverage adjustment for different site conditions.

Tamper by Accelerometer

TXI is equipped with an accelerometer. The accelerometer detects device removal and tilt.

TXI takes a different approach.

Using new Triple AND logic, TXI verifies movement across multiple detection points before generating an alarm. This helps the sensor distinguish between human intrusion and small animal movement, without weakening the sensor’s response.
