OPTEX Vision App is the dedicated App for VXI-CMOD. It is compatible with Android and iOS and can be downloaded for free from Google Play or the App store. Quick guide to the installation and set-up of the OPTEX Vision App can be found in the following videos.
Please use a microSD card with a maximum memory of 32GB and with FAT-32 format (can be formatted with OPTEX Vision App).

The VXI-CMOD doesn’t need an alarm control panel, only a WIFI router and internet connection. You can manage it via the OPTEX Vision App, which allows to access the live stream and audio, get notifications of the alarm activations, see and share the recorded videos.
Please refer to the equipment manual of the NVR or the third party device. The video stream from the VXI-CMOD may be viewed as “recorded” or “live” depending on the functionality of the third party equipment.

The sensor and the camera module will not be delivered pre-assembled, but the assembly of the camera module (VXI-CMOD) on top the sensor is very easy. Watch the VXI-CMOD installation video for assembly instructions.
The VXI-CMOD camera module cannot be used in conjunction with the battery operated VXI sensors (VXI-R, VXI-RAM ,VXI-RDAM) as the module requires more power than what can be delivered by the battery-powered VXI PIRs / dual-tech. The VXI-CMOD is compatible with the following hardwired models: VXI-ST, VXI-AM, VXI-DAM.
