At the end of 2008 Optex introduced the OA-Axis series to the market. The OA-Axis series were officially launched early January of this year at the BAU exposition in Munich.
Since the introduction the sales quantities are increasing drastically because many customers appreciate the larger and denser activation detection area. The activation area can be tilted outwards without influencing the presence detection. Of course the most important feature of the OA-Axis series is the increased safety, the OA-Axis series 'presence detection pattern' is in compliance with the latest draft European norm prEN 12650, the existing DIN 18650 and the OA-Axis T is tested and approved by the German notified test-organisation TÜV.
