Based on camera technology Optex showed the Giken Trastem People counting system. Giken Trastem is a 100% daughter company of Optex Japan specialized in manufacturing of camera-based sensors. Many of the installations are done in the Asian market, Japan, China, Singapore etc and now the Palossie people counting is also becoming available for the European market. The Palossie can count traffic in 8 different directions (with one camera) up to a 98% accuracy.
