Integration schematic Dahua and OPTEX sensors
OPTEX LiDARs are IP devices and as such will connect directly to the Dahua DHi series NVRs. The passive and active infrared sensors, will connect to the NVR via our IP encoder, called PIE-1. The PIE-1 is included within our long-range SIP-IP outdoor passive infrared range (SIP-IP-Box) but needs to be purchased separately for the other sensors, such as the infrared beams and the short range PIRs and curtain sensors. Our sensors are monitored on the network by Dahua’s DHi NVRs, using a heartbeat. So, if for any reason the sensors are not connected or have been tampered with, this will be notified to the system (allow 5 min before the notification is sent). The sensors’ alarm can be linked to cameras so when an intrusion occurs it triggers the relevant camera to verify what is happening. There is ability to track the intruders across detection zones by activating the PTZ cameras.
All in all, it creates an efficient event-driven security system, managing and verifying alarms, To allow the event-driven recording, the storage schedule would need to be set-up first.
